About the Authors

Plant Life of the Dolomites is the result of a joint, lifelong interest for the Dolomites by both authors, and intense field work during several decades. The starting point of research was in 1960, but Sandro began spending winter and summer holidays in the Dolomites with his parents from early childhood, and also Erika has been in constant contact with this environment ever since she was a teenager and lived at the foothill of the Lienz Dolomites.
