Preface to the 1st English Edition
I am particularly pleased that my long desire to have my German textbook and color atlas of proctology appear in English has finally been fulfilled. Simultaneously with the writing of the 4th German edition, I worked together with W. H. C. Burgdorf to produce an English translation.
