Anaphylactic reaction: case report A 23-year-old woman developed anaphylactic reaction during treatment with amoxicillin, tetracycline, metronidazole and pantoprazole for recurrent Helicobacter pylori infection. The woman, who had a history of penicillin allergy, was diagnosed with recurrent Helicobacter pylori infection. She also had a history of a raised rash due to sulfa drugs.
