The Fifth International Conference on Applied Cryptography and Network Security (ACNS 2007) was held in Zhuhai, China, June 5–8, 2007. This volume contains papers that were accepted to the academic track of the conference. The conference received an astounding number of submissions this year, which made the review process a challenging and demanding task.
