Preface
Head and neck endocrine disorders include several diseases involving different organs and with variable outcome and prognosis. A crucial step for the correct management of these disorders is the early diagnosis, the proper differential diagnosis, and, when appropriate, an accurate disease staging. Beyond clinical and laboratory data, different imaging modalities are now available to evaluate head and neck endocrine disorders. These imaging modalities include both morphological and functional imaging methods, sometimes combined by using hybrid devices.
