Lack of efficacy: case report An 8 years and 10-month-old boy exhibited lack of efficacy while being treated with brivaracetam, lacosamide and valproic acid for complex partial seizures. The boy, who had complex partial seizures started receiving brivaracetam, lacosamide and valproic acid, along with vagus nerve stimulation. However, his seizures were found to be refractory.
