Peripheral neuropathy: case report A 43-year-old woman developed peripheral neuropathy during treatment with carboplatin and paclitaxel for endometrial adenocarcinoma. The woman, presented with vaginal bleeding. Eight months prior to the current presentation, she exhibited colourless and odourless serous vaginal discharge. At that time, stress urinary incontinence was suspected. Following half a year (current presentation), her symptoms progressed. She was inseparable to sanitary pads. Investigations led to a confirm diagnosis of endometrial adenocarcinoma (cT3aN0M0, stage IIIA). Therefore, she was treated with radiotherapy. Subsequently, she received adjuvant systemic chemotherapy with six cycles of carboplatin and paclitaxel [routes and dosages not stated]. However, she developed grade 1 peripheral neuropathy associated with chemotherapy [duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. Ker C-R, et al.
