Pneumonitis: case report In a retrospectively study (between March 2013 and December 2017) involving 44 patients, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed pneumonitis during treatment with carboplatin and paclitaxel for non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (non-squamous NSCLC). The patient, who had non-squamous NSCLC, received chemotherapy regimen with carboplatin on day 1 and paclitaxel (albuminbound paclitaxel-nab-PTX) on days 1, 8 and 15 in a 21 day cycle [routes and dosages not stated]. However, the patient developed ≥ grade 3 pneumonitis [duration of treatments to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. Subsequently, the patient died of unknown reason. Tanaka M, et al.
