Fibrosis in the abdominal peritoneum: case report In a retrospective observational cohort study of 58 patients, a 42-year-old woman was described, who developed fibrosis in the abdominal peritoneum during neoadjuvant chemotherapy with carboplatin and paclitaxel for advanced ovarian cancer. The woman, who was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer, started receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy with carboplatin and paclitaxel [routes and dosages not stated] in cycles. Prior to interval debulking surgery, a contrast based CT revealed chemotherapy-induced fibrosis in the abdominal peritoneum [durations of treatments to reaction onset and outcome not stated].
