The Chinese Lexical Semantics Workshop (CLSW), established in 2000, has acted as an important conference in the Asia-Pacific region to prompt the research and application of Chinese lexical semantics and other related fields, including theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, computational linguistics, information processing, computational lexicography, etc. The 16th Chinese Lexical Semantics Workshop (CLSW 2015) was held during May 9–11, 2015 at Beijing Normal University, China. A total of 248 papers were submitted to the workshop, an unprecedented number of submissions in the CLS
