About the Author
Ranjan Roy is a professor in the Faculty of Social Work and in the Department of Clinical Health Psychology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Manitoba, and a consultant (scientific) in the Department of Anesthesia, Health Sciences Center. Professor Roy is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and the Canadian Academy of Science and the Humanities. He has published and lectured extensively on the biopsychosocial aspects of chronic pain.
