Treatment failure: case report In a single-center retrospective cohort study of 46 patients with renal transplant and persistent post-transplant hyperparathyroidism (PPTHP) and hypercalcaemia followed-up between 2012 and 2017, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who exhibited treatment failure following a high dose of cinacalcet [route and dosage not stated]. The patient experienced persistent hypercalcaemia even with a high dose of cinacalcet. Hence, the patient required parathyroidectomy. Rivelli GG, et al.
