Liver dysfunction in an elderly patient: case report A retrospective study identified a 71-year-old man who received chemoradiotherapy for cancer of the temporal bone. He received a TPF regimen, which is composed of continuous IV fluorouracil at 600-700 mg/m2 over days 1–5, with a bolus injection of docetaxel 50 mg/m2 and cisplatin 60 mg/m2 on day 2. After one cycle, he developed liver dysfunction (ALT, grade 3). He did not receive a scheduled second course of TPF [outcome not stated]. Shiga K, et al.
