Pneumonitis: case report In a randomised, prospective, singleā€‘institutional, consecutive cohort study of 60 patients with locally advanced unresectable non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) enrolled from December 2013 to December 2014, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed pneumonitis following neoadjuvant chemotherapy with cisplatin and paclitaxel for locally advanced unresectable NSCLC. The patient who had locally advanced unresectable NSCLC received 4 cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy consisting of cisplatin injection 75 mg/m2 divided into day 1 and day 2 and IV paclitaxel injection 175 mg/m2 on day 1, repeated every 3 weeks [not all routes stated]. Subsequently, the patient received radiation therapy. However, the patient developed treatment related grade III pneumonitis [time to reactions onsets and outcomes not stated]. Kumar R, et al.
