Preface
The 6th International Conference on Cooperative Design, Visualization and Engineering CDVE 2009 was held in central Europe - Luxembourg. Participants from five continents came together to celebrate this annual event. The papers published in the conference in this volume reflect the new progress in the following aspect. Research in developing cooperative applications is currently focusing on two directions. One is the cooperation in the software development process and the other is the variety of the targeted cooperative software products.
