Abnormal liver function: case report A retrospective study identified a man [age not stated], who had prostate cancer, who started receiving monthly IV cyclophosphamide 500–750 mg/m2 for 6 months, and oral prednisone 0.8–1.0 mg/kg per day for 8 weeks which was reduced by 5mg every 2 weeks until 30 mg/day was reached, then reduced by 5mg every 4 weeks until 5 mg/day for 6 months for idiopathic membranous nephropathy. During treatment, he experienced abnormal liver function on three occasions [time to reaction onset and patient outcome not stated]. Yuan J, et al.
