Lisl Marburg Goodman, Ph.D. is an associate professor of psychology at Jersey City State College and senior clinieal psychologist at the Psychiatrie Serviees Center in White Plains, New York. She received her Ph.D. from the New School for Social Research. Dr. Goodman has published artieies in personality research and thanatology in scientific journals and she has participated in symposia and paper sessions at major psychological conventions in the United States and in Europe. Thanatology has been her special area of interest since 1971, when she devised one of the earliest college courses in that field for Jersey City State College.
