Dispute Resolution Mechanism for the Belt and Road Initiative is published! As organizers and editors of this Blue Book, we want to say a lot but don’t know where to start. The idea of formulating this Blue Book started in the fall of 2015 and then was proposed in the Second International Forum of International Academy of the Belt and Road, which firmly approved the proposal. Subsequently, a working group comprising experts from different countries was established. With arduous work of more than nine months and countless drafts, the working group produced the first draft of the Blue Book in August 2016, whereupon the Academy distributed it to the experts of the countries along the Belt and Road for comments and suggestions, and the Academy played an active administrative support role for the group.
