It gives me immense pleasure to write a foreword for an excellent educative exercise done by Dr. Beena and Dr. Vijaykumar. The management of early breast cancer has always been an area of keen interest for practicing oncologists. The management schema of early breast cancer has dynamically evolved over decades. There has been a paradigm shift in the management algorithm of early breast cancer, and interestingly there are still several controversies in its management.
