Fluorouracil/folinic acid/lobaplatin Various toxicities: 3 case reports

In a retrospective study involving 30 patients (received treatment from March 2004 to September 2008), three patients [ages and sexes not stated] were described, two of whom developed myelosuppression manifested as grade III/IV thrombocytopenia (1 patient), and grade III/IV leukocytopenia (1 patient) and the remaining one patient developed manifestations of gastrointestinal reactions as grade III nausea and vomiting (1 patient) while receiving IV lobaplatin 30 mg/m2 on day 1, IV fluorouracil [5-fluorouracil] 300 mg/m2 on days 1–5 and IV folinic acid [leucovorin] 100 mg/m2 on days 1–5 in a cycle of 3 weeks for advanced gastric cancer [durations of treatments to reactions onsets and outcomes not stated].
