Preface
This book contains a collection of papers written by participants of the INDAM Workshop “Geometric Function Theory in Higher Dimension”, held at the Palazzone in Cortona, Italy from September 5 to 9, 2016. The meeting brought together international experts on the subject of geometric function theory in one and several variables, as well as young researchers, in order to discuss old and new open problems in the area and stimulate new joint work. The talks were mainly focusing on open problems and recent achievements on the subject. In the same spirit, we asked the authors of this volume to write their contributions focusing on recent developments in the sector and challenging new problems. Geometric function theory in one dimension has been and still is one of the main streams of research in mathematics since early in the las
