Systemic reaction: case report In an open, uncontrolled, non-compared, non-randomised, retrospective study of 71 patients (aged 23–62 years) who had been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) at the Neurology Clinic of Uludag University, Turkey, between January 1990 and December 2010, an adult patient [sex and exact age not stated] was described, who developed systemic reaction during injection of glatiramer acetate, administered for RRMS. The systemic drug reaction presented as chest tightness, palpitation, facial flushing and dyspnoea [dosage, route and duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. The reaction was temporary.
