The 29th Annual Symposium on Computer and Information Sciences, held in Krakow under the auspices of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, pursues the tradition of a broad-based symposium presenting recent advances in scientific and technical aspects of Information Technology. Notable in this year’s event are the presence of new areas such as Quantum Computing, and the greater emphasis on Network Security via a session (as last year) that presents some of the results from the EU FP7 Project NEMESYS.
