No Ir-Si phase diagram was given in [Massalski2]. The Si-rich side (50-100 at.% Si) of the Ir-Si phase diagram was reported by [1993All], as introduced in this section by [1995Oka]. [2006Sha] determined the Ir-rich side (0-50 at.% Si) of this phase diagram by means of x-ray diffraction, electron probe microanalysis, and scanning electron microscopy. Figure 1 shows the complete Ir-Si phase diagram based on the combined work of [1993All] and [2006Sha].
