DRESS syndrome and peripheric neuropathy: 2 case reports In a retrospective single-centre study involving 32 patients who had been treated for CNS abscesses between 2000 and 2018, 2 patients [ages and sexes not stated] were described, who developed DRESS syndrome (1 patient) or peripheric neuropathy (1 patient) during treatment with phenytoin and linezolid, respectively. Both the patients, who had CNS abscesses, started receiving phenytoin; while the other patient started receiving linezolid [dosages and routes not stated]. Subsequently, the patient who received phenytoin, developed DRESS syndrome; while the another patient developed peripheric neuropathy [times to reactions onsets and outcomes not stated].
