Aseptic meningitis: case report A study performed between 2009 and 2019 in Russia described 7 children aged 2–6 years, who developed aseptic meningitis after vaccination with measles-mumps-vaccine for immunisation. The children received vaccination with measles-mumps-vaccine for immunisation [routes and dosages not stated]. However, within 10–25 days of the vaccination, they developed aseptic meningitis related to measles-mumps-vaccine. Children exhibited symptoms of fever, headache and vomiting. Meningeal signs were positive. Blood tests and cerebrospinal fluid including protein, glucose, pleocytosis, lymphocytes and intrathecal antimumps IgG/IgM were also indicative of aseptic meningitis [outcomes not stated].
