QTc-interval prolongation: 2 case reports In a single center retrospective chart review study, involving 22 patients who were treated with methadone between January 2011 and August 2015, two patients [ages and sexes not stated] were described, who developed QTc-interval prolongation during treatment with methadone or quetiapine [routes, dosages, durations of treatments to reactions onsets and outcomes not stated]. The patients, who were diagnosed with unspecified cancer, started receiving methadone (n=1) or methadone and quetiapine (n=1). Subsequently, both the patients developed QTc-interval prolongation. Therefore, in one of the patient EKG monitoring was increased and in the remaining patient, the quetiapine dose was decreased. Piccininni JA, et al.
