Pulmonary embolus: case report In a retrospective study of 257 women, performed between May 2016 and January 2018, a woman [age not stated] was described, who developed pulmonary embolus during treatment with mifepristone and misoprostol for abortion. The pregnant woman received oral mifepristone 200mg and buccal misoprostol every two hours until delivery [routes and dosages not stated] for abortion. Subsequently, she developed shortness of breath during its induction. Therefore, she was hospitalised. However, after hospital transfer, she died due to pulmonary embolus. She reported no medical conditions that increased thromboembolism risk [durations of treatments to reaction onset not stated]. Wingo E, et al.
