Abstract TTB-type NaNbWO6 has been used to perform sodium-proton exchange reactions by using nitric acid as an exchanging agent. The characterisation of the exchange reaction products, performed by means of chemical analysis, X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis, indicate that the exchange reaction takes place topotactically.
