Acute on chronic liver failure secondary to druginduced liver injury: case report In a single-center retrospective study of 68 patients with Wilson disease (WD) identified from the WD registry maintained by Saint John’s Medical College Hospital, India, who were admitted with acute on chronic liver failure (ACLF) between 1997 and 2016, one patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed fatal ACFL secondary to druginduced liver injury during treatment with nimesulide [indication, route, dosage and duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. Author comment: "Precipitating factors such as . . . druginduced liver injury (DILI) in 2 patients (from nimesulide in 1 . . . were identified) . . . patients with drug-induced ACLF died".
