Abstract EHR semantic interoperability problems have long been academic and industrial research hotspots and difficulties. By using Description Logic-based semantic web knowledge representation, first it gets a semantic interoperability document for EHR and packages it into a communicational message structure of agent communication language named KQML which support semantic. Then satisfy two aspects of semantic EHR interoperability requirements with a multi-agent cooperation model: Semantic integration and transparent query of heterogeneous EHR data sources, semantic interoperability of Heterogeneous EHR systems. Multi-agent Semantic interoperability EHR

33.1 Introduction The rapid development of the Internet makes massive data growth which dispersed throughout the network. It brings some difficulties when people analyze the data. How to integrate dispersed heterogeneous data sources in the network, so that the heterogeneous information systems which have different information representation and protocol could achieve interoperability becomes a research focus [1]. Heterogeneity of electronic health records data source, complexity of regional health network and the health system, is ideally suited to show the ability of multiagent collaboration in semantic interoperability [2, 3].

33.2 Multi-Agent Semantic Communication Mechanism 33.2.1 Agent Communication Language KQML The universal communication language of smart subject is KQML (Knowledge Query and Manipulation Language), which is proposed by Knowledge Sharing Effort Plan of United States [4]. KQML contains three levels that are communication layer, message layer and the content layer. Subject package and send the content which is a semantic document in the content layer to achieve semantic sharing and interoperability. Set sending agent is A, accepting agent is B, semantic document is X and the domain ontology is identified as URI,then a typical KQML message like :(tell :sender A :receiver B :ontology URI :content :(X)). The KQML message built-in carries the knowledge of domain ontology identity, that multi-agent collaborative uses KQML for semantic communicating becoming possible.

33.2.2 DL-Based Domain Ontology Knowledge Expression The basis of semantic interoperability needs the identical understanding of the concepts and knowledge in the same knowledge universe, and the semantic interoperability of electronic health records, for example, that heterogeneous health information systems in domain need to comply with the
