It consists of 8 subdomains, including Mobility (items:10); Emotional well-being; Stigma (4); Social support (3); Cognition (4); Communication (3); Bodily discomfort (3). It is also available in a short form with 8 questions (PDQ-8). Higher scores reflect lower health status. The scale has been formally validated in US English, British English, German, and Spanish.
