Foreword
This textbook is an outcome of doctoral research carried out in the development of optical sensing techniques using planar optical waveguide by Aradhana Dutta, at Tezpur Central University, Tezpur, Assam, India. Tremendous investigation expanded in the development of wide range of accurate optical sensors to simplify the analysis of biological interactions paves the way for the development of highly sensitive planar waveguide sensors. Although other authors have paid sufficient attention to this aspect, the emphasis and visibility of techniques may, however, differ from book to book. This particular book is intended on t
