Stent thrombosis: case report. In a retrospective study including 472 patients, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed stent thrombosis during treatment with protamine sulfate to prevent bleeding after percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). The patient underwent elective PCI due to a non-acute myocardial infarction lesion and immediately IV protamine sulfate [protamine; dosage not stated] injection was administered for bleeding prophylaxis. After 24 days of zotarolimus-eluting stent implantation, a definite stent thrombosis developed [outcome not stated]. Kubota M, et al.
