Abstract Internet technology provides a lot of information and technical communication means for construction project, so more construction project management project began to use the Internet information technology to improve their management model. By means of Internet information platform, this paper introduces the advantages and disadvantages of construction project management by using the technology of the Internet, as well as the application in the project construction. Introduction
Project management was put forward by some engineers mainly after the industrial revolution with engineering technology development [1–3]. Later on, with the development of the society and the progress of technology, and they put forward the higher engineering concept request, which created companies specially engaged in engineering project management. From the beginning, project management was mainly composed of construction management theory and the economic analysis of the construction etc. [4, 5]. A complete construction project management should be project planning from the start, and then through the design, investment, construction, to the last application, as is shown in Fig. 51.1.

Construction Project Management System Design
The main process of construction project management system includes business engineering design management, engineering construction management, procurement and inventory management, project management, engineering settlement after the completion of the filing management etc. [6]. A complete project management process basically has the following several steps. First, the construction unit issued the project information to the project manager who is responsible for the project. Second, the project manager delegates the project received to the relevant engineering design office. Third, engineering design office submits the line project engineering design and budget evaluation, the assessment results to the project manager. Fourth, the project manager submits the evaluation results received such as the equipment and materials to the construction unit managers. Fifth, the construction unit examine and approve the budget materials and equipment results to the project manager.
