Research on the Construction of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Performance Evaluation Indicator System Yaowu Wei

Abstract As an important component of the enterprise management, enterprise performance evaluation has become a hot research for scholars. Currently, there are many researches on the construction of the performance evaluation system, but these researches are often limited to the results of the performance evaluation, and neglect the evaluation to impact of performance evaluation process. Performance evaluation is lack of strategic character. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a kind of advanced management method and ideological system, which is an effective tool to improve operating efficiency. This thesis attempts to find a set of evaluation index system and method which is suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises in China implementing ERP system performance evaluation according to characteristics. According to the statistical analysis, Small and medium-sized enterprises that take 94 % of total, they have created more than 70 % GDP and have offered 75 % employment opportunities. ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a kind of advanced management method and ideological system, which is an effective tool to improve operating efficiency. Meanwhile, as ERP is an investment with high cost and risk, its exertion on potential advantage needs a lot of factors. Application of ERP system in enterprises usually need to input many dollars.
