The skin provides the structural and functional prerequisites for an array of cellular and humoral immune reactions assocoiated with a broad spectrum of dermatoses. Depend-ing on the type of disease, immunosuppresive or immunostimulatory therapeutic strategies may offer specific and well-tolerated treatment modalities.
