This volume contains the proceedings of the 27th annual conference on the Foundations of Software Technology and Theoretical Computer Science (FSTTCS 2007) held during December 12–14, 2007 at the India International Centre in New Delhi. The conference was organized under the auspices of the Indian Association for Research in Computing Science (IARCS). This year’s conference attracted 135 submissions from 31 countries.
