Abstract. In the paper a detecting system of load current waveform based on fuzzy pattern recognition is designed in order to solve a large number of existing problem of office electrical equipment safety and wasted energy. The system can real-time detect the load of office. The type, power and running state of power device can be on-line analyzed and diagnosed by the method of fuzzy pattern recognition to attain purposes of safety and energy conservation. Experimental results show that method of fuzzy pattern recognition can better reflect the effect of complex and uncertain factors. Application of this technology plays a positive role on spread of energy- conservation products and safe use of electricity. 1 Introduction Energy saving and emission reduction has become one of the main topics of modern social research, conservation of electricity is the most important. The family, office, and other public occasions electricity load and load of different types, which makes the electric energy saving becomes very complex. At present our country is in economic development period, and civilian office electrical equipment increases very fast, and the user does not have the electrical knowledge. Large electrical equipment use is bound to bring safe hidden trouble and electric energy waste problem, development of high intelligence, high efficiency monitoring equipment, implementation of safe use of electricity, energy saving and environmental protection be imperative. In 2004 we have developed with the load differential function of the electric power monitoring system, on this foundation, we present further in-depth study of various types of electric circuit load running at the same time loop current waveform, using the fuzzy pattern recognition[1] method on different load analysis and judgment, early warning. Divided into two main parts: load current waveform data acquisition and remote on-line analysis and diagnosis. This paper mainly introduces the load current waveform data acquisition and analysis of single load, load to office as the research object ( including computer, printer, copier, water machine, air conditioning ), on the acquisition of signal using the fuzzy pattern recognition method for waveform analysis, draw the conclusion, put forward the corresponding assumption of energy saving and energy saving measures.
