Mild acute kidney injury type 1: case report A 63-year-old man developed mild acute kidney injury type 1 during treatment with tacrolimus as an immunosuppressive therapy. The man, who had undergone liver transplantation, started receiving immunosuppression triple therapy including tacrolimus [route and dosage not stated], mycophenolate and unspecified steroids. He also received unspecified low-molecularweight heparin. However, he developed mild acute kidney injury (type 1) [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated] along with ascites. He was treated with diuretic therapy and his symptoms resolved. Later, diuretics were also stopped, with no recurrence of ascites. Guarner P, et al.
