Preface

The papers collected in this volume grow out of a series of discussions on the concept of “The Rule of Law” held at meetings of the European American Consortium for Legal Education in Warsaw (2008), the American Society for Legal History in Tempe, Arizona (2007), and the Association of American Law Schools in San Diego, California (2009). We would like to thank those who attended these meetings for their insightful remarks
