With immense pleasure, we are glad to introduce the Special Issue on Thermal Analysis and Energy Systems in the Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry. This Special Issue contains the selected papers presented in IMEC2019 at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, in thermal stream. The researchers, academics and industrial professionals have presented their contributions in the major Mechanical Engineering Streams such as, Thermal, Energy, Design, Manufacturing and Safety Engineering. More than 250 papers were presented in the conference with ten keynotes. In thermal stream, 128 papers were orally presented. Out of 128 papers, 105 papers were selected and invited for online submission for this Special Issue. The selected papers for this Special Issue are focusing on research and developments on thermal analysis of energy systems, cryogenics, refrigeration and air conditioning, heat transfer, nanofluids, alternative fuels and renewable energy applications. The papers were selected based on the recommendations by two subject experts, and the final acceptance was made as per the guidelines
