Acute kidney injury: case report In a retrospective single-center matched-cohort study comprising of 228 patients who were treated with vancomycin and unspecified antibiotics between 1st January 2015 and 30th June 2016, one paediatric patient [sex and exact age not stated] was described who developed acute kidney injury following combination antibiotic therapy with vancomycin and unspecified antibiotics [routes and dosages not stated]. The patient developed acute kidney injury on the day of initiation of combination antibiotic therapy [outcome not stated]. Author comment: "One patient met our criteria for [acute kidney injury] on the day of initiation of combination antibiotics".
