Foreword About the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence
In this book, the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence “Research on Crucial Issues of European Integration” of the University of Macedonia presents results of three conferences and the research carried out within the framework of the center’s first research axis entitled “Constitutional Values, Rights and Citizenship in the European Union,” under the directions of its thematic coordinator, Associate Professor George Voskopoulos. The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence “Research on Crucial Issues of European Integration” was established in 2015 after having been selected for co-funding by the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Action Program. It was hosted by the Institute of International Relations and European Integration of the Department of International and European Studies (IDEA) at the University of Macedonia, Greece, directed by Professor and Dean Ilias Kouskou
