Ziprasidone Galactorrhoea: case report A 15-year-old girl with bipolar disorders and posttraumatic stress disorder had started receiving oral ziprasidone, titrated up to 80mg twice daily, and lithium during a pervious period of hospitalisation. She was readmitted for suicidal ideation and threats 4 days after discharge. On presentation, she reported significant galactorrhoea without other signs or symptoms of hyperprolactinaemia [time to reaction onset not clearly stated]; her serum prolactin level was 115.2 ng/mL. She started receiving clonidine, ziprasidone was tapered off and aripiprazole was initiated; she was receiving aripiprazole on discharge. Six weeks later, galactorrhoea had resolved and her serum prolactin level was 4.2 ng/mL. Salda˜na SN, et al. Ziprasidone-associated galactorrhea in an adolescent female.
