About the Author Guive Mirfendereski is a lawyer and professorial lecturer in international law and relations. He has taught at Brandeis University and Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. A corporate and business lawyer in private practice in Massachusetts, Mr. Mirfendereski holds a Ph.D. in international affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School (J.D.) and received his undergraduate degree (B.A.) in government from Georgetown University’s College of Arts and Sciences. Among his numerous publications is the seminal study entitled “The Ownership of the Tonb Islands: A Legal Analysis,” in H. Amirahmadi, ed. Small Islands, Big Politics (St. Martin’s Press, 1996).
