Preface: Embracing Case Outcome Modeling in Theory Construction and Empirical Research in the Social Sciences and Business Subdisciplines
The following observations represent the unifying theoretical and methodological tenets observable in all the chapters in this volume. First, construction and confirmation of accurate case outcome modeling (ACOM) are achievable in the behavioral science and business subdisciplines—even though at the start of the 2020s, variable-directional hypothesis construction with null hypothesis significance testing (NHST) remains in dominant logic in these subdisciplines.
