Preface
The field of gastrointestinal (GI) motility evaluation has been revolutionized over the past two decades with the advent of high-resolution manometry and impedance. The Atlas of High-Resolution Manometry, Impedance, and pH Monitoring is a unique, comprehensive reference book that allows the readers with various background knowledge to become familiar with the basic and advanced principles of GI motility assessment, specifically covering the manometry and pH monitoring in detail. Throughout the chapters, the readers are introduced to cases with increasing complexity. All slides come courtesy from the GI motility laboratory at Cedars- Sinai, Los Angeles, California. Compiled over the past decade, these slides provide the readers with a case-based discussion. Cases were selected from over 10,000 manometry and pH procedures, which were all performed and interpreted by the GI motil
