Preface

I am happy to present to you the Challenging Cases in Allergic and Immunologic Diseases of the skin. This book like our preceding title, Challenging cases in Allergy and Immunology, is a collection of interesting and challenging cases affecting thousands of people who suffer from allergic and immunologic skin diseases. A wide range of subjects from simple skin allergy to complex autoimmune diseases of the skin are discussed and presented in an easy-to-follow format. This book consists of five parts and 20 chapters, and each chapter presents two cases. What makes this book unique is the style of its presentation. Each case starts with a short abstract, followed by case presentation, working diagnosis, data, final diagnosis, and discussion. For the purpose of clarification, most chapters have included several colorful photos for better illustration of the ca
