1 Introduction The modified analytical hierarchy process (M-AHP) is used as a technique for organizing and analyzing complex problems by using mathematics and psychology. eigenvector and examining the reliability of the assessment by eigenvalue. The combinations of individual performance indicator with one of key performance indicator are done in order to assign a different weight to each criterion or attribute. The process of (M-AHP) is mainly used to calculate weights. It considers ratios for paired comparison. The inputs for (M-AHP) are alternatives and criterions [1, 2]. In this paper, three different types of ice cream, viz., Breyers Homemade vanilla, Breyers vanilla and Ben and jerry butter pecan are considered as three different alternatives. The criterions considered for ice cream are sugar, proteins, cholesterol and dietary fiber, which are attributes of an ice cream [3–5]. This paper proposes a method for recommending a particular ice cream to a diabetic patient by developing a model based on M-AHP [6–8]. The organization of this paper is as follows, Section 1 gives introductory details, Sect. 2 gives details about the used methodology for analyzing problem under consideration, Sect. 3 shows results for proposed analysis, Sect. 4 contains conclusions, Sect. 5 throws light on future work of this analysis and at the last in Sect. 6 references used in this paper are listed.

2 Methodology Used for Analyzing Problem Under Consideration The first step while developing a M-AHP model for a particular problem is to arrange its details in hierarchy while in Fig. 1, level 0 shows objective of this analysis [9–12], which is to recommend a particular ice cream to a diabetic patient. The next level, i.e., level 1 shows different criterions cum attributes of an ice cream, which are sugar, cholesterol, calories, and proteins. The last level, i.e., level 2
